At the Movies

One of Northside's favorite summer traditions is back!
Join us for three weekends as we discover the heart of Jesus through the stories and themes found in popular movies. Each weekend features a different movie-inspired message, engaging worship, a welcoming atmosphere, fresh popcorn after every service, and a few fun surprises along the way.
Whether you've been attending church for years or you're considering visiting for the very first time, At The Movies is a great weekend to join us.

A Special Family Weekend

On July 25 & 26, we have something extra special! You're invited to kick off Week 1 of our "At the Movies" series with your 1st-5th grader in the Kidside Auditorium. You'll hear the same great sermon while experiencing Kidside worship together as a family!
Please note: 3rd-5th graders will not have Kidside programming or check-in this weekend. Instead, they'll attend the service with their families

Why Stories?

Jesus often used familiar stories to reveal deeper truth. At The Movies follows that same idea by using themes from popular films to point us toward the hope, grace, and truth found in Him.
The movies may feel familiar, but the message is always centered on God's Word and the life-changing hope of Jesus.

Invite Someone

At The Movies is one of the easiest weekends of the year to invite a friend, neighbor, coworker, or family member to church.
Pray about who God may be placing on your heart, then extend an invitation. You never know how God might use one simple invite to change someone's story.

Keep the Conversation Going

At The Movies is an in-person only experience. Because the series includes copyrighted film content, the weekend messages aren't available online.
Each weekend, one of our Teaching Pastors will release a podcast-style conversation that expands on the message, explores the biblical themes in greater depth, and helps you carry what you learned into the week ahead.
Think of it as the conversation after the credits, not a replacement for the weekend, but a resource to help you keep growing long after the service ends.
